Our NUTU © applications are based on nudge techniques integrated with your work applications of Microsoft 365. Our nudges are personalised natural interventions to assist with that just-in-time reminder for users to give themselves that extra thinking space to assess and internally challenge their learned habits and work towards positive security behaviours.

We know not all nudges are created equal so we combine this with our behavioural frameworks to understand what will make effective nudges for your team and how to effectively implement a security behavioural programme.

Security Culture
Developing a new security culture is a heavily involved and time-consuming activity but has tremendous benefits to your organisation if you get it right. We have created the NS Security Culture Framework as the scaffolding for any culture improving programme as a way to effectively structure, plan, manage and monitor its development.

Our framework utilises positive psychology such as using incentives and trust to form the social behaviours that helps create a successful security culture.

Secure EcoSystem
We believe cyber security is an environmental, social and governance (ESG) issue. Rather than relying on insurance, our approach is to deliver frameworks that can be managed as part of the ESG strategy within an organisation. ​Cyber attacks present a huge risk to the value of organisations and ultimately the stability of society. Therefore, we look at solutions that can promote sustainability in the total ecosystem but ensuring they are secure and compliant.

Sustainability also comes in the form of the way we deliver and utilise technologies as the reliance on cloud and the associated data centres has risen steeply. Many organisations have pledged to drive towards net-zero and as such building out a sustainable supply chain is vital for that goal. Also ensuring sustainable security is maintained throughout the organisation's own ecosystem is vital to that.

Our frameworks are designed to merge these aims and deliver through a single approach - security and sustainability.
Research Vault
We are committed through our academic links to research and have several university working collaborations beginning. Our aim is to put behavioural science at the heart of information security.
​
We will be creating a dedicated research sub-site for all of our and our partner's whitepapers and published scientific journals on this topic. We will also be embarking on an annual cyber behaviours survey in partnership with our university partners. This will look at the state of security behaviours in organisations across the UK and what methods and approaches are being implemented to address the societal and internal issues being faced that year.

One outcome will be for us to help define and predict what influences will need interventions in the coming year(s) and what areas of research require greater understanding such as the introduction of AI into security awareness and how engineering behaviours will influence the OT security posture.
